Hi, my name is Ernesto Guisado. I live in beautiful Italy, where I work as Computer Programmer.

Here's a list of the things you can find on my website (not just about programming, but almost):

• Win32::GuiTest— a Perl module that allows sending keystrokes, mouse-clicks and in general interacting with Windows applications in different ways. I also wrote an article about Win32::GuiTest for the Windows Developer Magazine.
• Some articles I've published in computing magazines.
• A very comprehensive list of annotated resources related to Cryptographic Random Numbers.
• Miscellanea, my weblog. A frequently updated collection of short pieces on software development. It might also contain random stuff related to other things that interest me, like fitness or Science Fiction, but programming remains the main focus. I also have an older blog that I don't update anymore.
• Some Software-related book reviews, including my "Best Programming Book Ever" short-list.
• Science Fiction
• Stuff releated to Programming. Mostly C++, Ruby, and Perl. I'm also writting some articles on Extreme Programming.
• Some years ago I used to be very interested in Computer Chess. I'm still interested, but I haven't got enough time anymore...
• Other things you can find here my list of C++ gotchas, some Perl one-liner's and some small enhancements I made to CppUnit.

I am a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and used to be member of the The Association of C & C++ Users and the IEEE Computer Society. They are a great resource for computing professionals. Please consider joining.
