Just came across a project run by the University College London Interaction Centre called Liquid Information. Quite cool. In their words: you can think of this project as an effort to turn web ‘browsers’ into web ‘readers’. This is not about ‘links’ it’s about interactive text – text you can issue commands on, such as ‘highlight this word in red’ or ‘look up the dictionary definition of this word’.

They mention Doug Engelbart as “Project Inspiration and Partner”...
